Check for plastic parts at both hinges and label them.
Removing fridge doors and hinges.
If you re undertaking a ge refrigerator door removal you can do this with the doors closed but for models from some manufacturers such as whirlpool the doors have to be open and askew 90 degrees to the refrigerator body.
Remove the two screws on the bottom of the fridge frame the new hinge side.
After unplugging your refrigerator and moving it away from the wall disconnect the water supply line by pressing the fitting release ring and pulling the water tube out of the connector fitting.
Lift the cover and remove it.

Remove the tube disconnect the wire harnesses and remove the grounding screw.
