The rain gutters can be attached using nails screws or rivets and some type of strapping or braces to hold them in place.
With the above safety procedures in mind use a power drill in reverse or a screwdriver to remove the screws underneath the roof or in the siding holding the gutter in place.
Rinse with water and if necessary reapply the chemical to remaining stains and brush again.
You can use caulk to fill holes left in the siding once the gutters and downspouts are removed.
Use hidden hangers to reinstall.
This is as simple as removing each gutter hanger or other device that holds the gutter in place.
Remove all of the support braces by pulling them straight up and off the gutter.
Now drill the remaining holes and install the rivets.
Have handyman do work if contractor refuses.
On stubborn streaks let the chemical dwell longer being careful not to let it dry.
Simple away to install or remove the gutters without a help and damaged.
The braces should only be resting on the gutter but may have been screwed on to the rear of the gutter.
Start by drilling a 1 8 in.
This will make removing the rest of the gutter easier.
Remove the gutter once all hangers are gone.
This is usually done by removing screws or using a pry bar to remove nails.
Use magnet to check to see if aluminum.
To remove the downspout you will have to remove the elbow at the bottom of the downspout.
