Click corner relief sheet metal toolbar or insert sheet metal corner relief.

The model must have three bends where the bend lines meet. When sheet metal makes a transition from a bend to a flat surface or to another bend it tends to rip and tear. Bend relief and collars near pierced areas strengthen sheet metal parts. Preventing tearing and part deformation during the bending process.

When designing parts for laser cutting one should not make holes smaller than the thickness of the material. Each corner of the t is at risk of tearing if the relevant line segment is bent without proper bend relief.
